Race to Glory...While Giving Back!
Get ready to race for glory while giving back to the community. By registering a team for the Phoenixville Bed Races, you are not only having fun, but supporting two nonprofits working tirelessly to support the most vulnerable in our community.
Ann's Heart and Good Samaritan Services provide shelter and case management to those in our region struggling with housing insecurity. Your participation in our event helps to raise funds for these much needed programs that serve Chester and Lancaster Counties.
Now... Let's Race Some Beds!
How It Works
Teams of 5 (4 runners and 1 rider) will race beds on wheels to earn one of three top prizes:
• Fastest Bed (Winner of the races)
• Best Bed Theme (Get creative - we love wacky costumes and decorations)
• Most Funds Raised (This is a fundraiser after all - help us hit our goal)
Teams can either create their own racing beds (see our Rules & Guidelines) or borrow one of ours!
Each team is comprised of 5 main participants and no more than two alternates. Runners must be 15 years and older. Riders must be 13 years and older (and wear helmets!). Each participant is $25.
Each team will be responsible for transporting their bed to and from the race, as well as using our peer-to-peer fundraising platform to gather donations towards their team leading up to the event. Each team should aim to raise a minimum of $500 ($100 per participant). But don't worry - we give you all the tools!
